A 12-strong Queensland Country Swim Team has been selected to contest this weekend’s NSW Country Championships at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (Feb 20–22).
The team follows the success of the inaugural Queensland Country Championships in Rockhampton and will be led by Swimming Queensland's Barry Prime.
Among the standouts are National Age champions Bryce Krause (Fairholme/Toowoomba) and Sunny Kito (Cairns Stingrays), along with Rocky City’s Makenzie Wyeth — recently crowned Country Swimmer of the Meet after a dominant medal haul at last year’s Queensland Championships.
With over 100 clubs set to compete across three days, our Queensland Country athletes are ready to represent with pride. 💪🔥
Best of luck to the entire team, coaches and staff!
