What an awesome weekend of racing! CQSA were proud to host the region’s best in Rockhampton on the 1st – 3rd March, showcasing the phenomenal swimming talent in Central Queensland.
CQ Allcomers records were knocked off right from the opening night, which featured the 800m & 1500m Freestyle events. Several more record-breaking swims were witnessed across the main programs on Saturday & Sunday, with exciting time trials at the end of each day’s racing providing swimmers that final local opportunity to qualify for Age Nationals. Club Relays also gave our teams & supporters a great opportunity to cheer their swimmers on loudly.
Thanks to all Technical Officials & Clubs for getting involved with the planning, setup, and delivering of our regional championships.
